Guile Point and the view south
Bookings are accepted on the following terms. They will be deemed to have been accepted by you, at the time when you complete the booking form.
We will hold your booking for five working days pending receipt of your completed booking form and deposit or payment in full. No contract exists until a completed booking form has been received by us with a rent deposit of £100 (or the full amount if appropriate), and our confirmation of the booking has been despatched. Thereafter the visitor becomes liable for the balance of the rent, which must be paid six weeks before the date of the commencement of the holiday. Please make cheques payable to Mr Mike Slawski.
In either case, you become liable for the balance of the rent, which must be paid six weeks before the date of the commencement of the holiday.
The rent includes £25 worth of oil/gas/electricity (£12.50 for Short Breaks) and a large basket of logs. Additional gas/oil/electricity usage is deducted from the deposit – see below.
A Fuel / Good Housekeeping deposit of £75 is payable with the final rent balance, six weeks before the start of your holiday. The cost of any additional fuel, breakages or damage will be deducted from this and the balance refunded to you at the end of the stay. If you opt to pay by cheque, please enclose a separate cheque for £75, which will only be cashed if a deduction is required.

The booking is for the purpose of the people whose names appear on the booking form. No more than 4 (four) people may stay at The Cottage.
The main condition is that you agree to take good care of the property and contents. You are responsible for any breakages or damage that occur during your stay; and these should be reported and paid for before departure. The house must be left clean and tidy, with all furniture, fittings and fixtures left in the same condition and state of repair as they were at the start of the holiday.
Tenancies commence at 4.00 pm and end at 10.00 am on departure day; please help us by leaving promptly, particularly on Holy Island where our cleaning time is often limited by the tides.
No responsibility is accepted for any accident or mishap to persons or property while on the premises.

We do not make an extra charge for dogs. In return, we ask that you respect the following conditions:
We do not allow dogs to be left alone in the cottage unless they are crated. There is a small enclosed courtyard to the rear of the cottage where dogs can be left for short periods.
The Cottage is in the village, and barking causes disturbance to all our immediate neighbours. If your dog barks a lot, please leave him/her at home.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises.
If you feel you have a genuine complaint in respect of the property, then this should be immediately reported. Complaints which are not reported immediately will not be entertained subsequently, and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of complaints made on departure or after your return home.
The information given on your booking form may be held on our database. It will only
be used in connection with your booking and for the purposes of sending you our occasional
newsletters,
if you have opted to receive them, and will not be passed on to any
third party.
